Live Vivaciously

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all having a super fabulous week. So, this is my first time writing for anything, ever, and I’ve never considered myself a writer, but I like talking about things that I like or think are important…this seems pretty close to that!
This section of the paper is going to include fitness, health, reflections, Christ in your life, random thoughts by *mua* and, of course how to live vivaciously! I hope you all know what that word means. If not, then don’t feel bad. I only know what it means because it has my name in it. Vivacious: “happy and lively in a way that is attractive”- Merriam Webster Dictionary. I want everything in this section to include all ideas that might help us all live more truly, happy lives and radiate that liveliness to others! The path to happiness, as we all might know here at JPCatholic, is through living a life with Christ! That is on the top of my list on how to be fully happy… but…food.
Yes, food! Christ is the bread of life and that totally allows me to awfully segue into food. Living vivaciously, for me at least, involves eating really good food. Sometimes that means food that is yummy and good for you. There are other times, however, where it is important to eat what you want, whether it’s a double-double from In-n-Out or a Tuscan Chicken salad from our local Sunnyside kitchen. Even if you are trying your hardest to eat healthy or “clean,” it’s important to fill those cravings once in a while! I am such a foodie, it’s ridiculous. Lookout for lots of yummy recipes in this section every few weeks or so. I’m going to start this first article off right by giving you guys one of my favorite foods to make throughout the week! My roommate inspired me to try her chia pudding, and once I did I was hooked! This is a recipe for some Scrumptious Chia Pudding…
All you need:
Chia seeds
A “milk” of your choice
My favorites are almond and coconut!)
Fruit of your choice
My favorite combos are Mango/Peach or All the berries!)
Delicious granola
My favorite brand is KIND (they use ingredients you can actually pronounce!)
Sweetener of choice
100% Pure Maple Syrup, Raw Honey, or Organic Agave are my favs!
How to: -I tend to use a mason jar, but find a container and fill a little over ¾ full with your “milk”. -Fill it with some chia seeds! (Honestly, I just eyeball it) -Put your fruit in it, then your sweetener of choice, and mix it up!!! -Let it sit in the fridge for two hours, or even overnight. The longer it sits, the more pudding-y it becomes! -When you’re ready to devour, top it with that yummy granola and voila! You have yourself a super easy, healthy, go-to snack. -This is a great breakfast/snack for those really busy days or early mornings!
Hope you guys enjoy!
XoXo and God Bless, Viva
